Greece Bailout: Greek Savings Regimen Approved!

Thursday, June 30th, 2011

Because of all the money the European Union has been feeding the Greek to help the Euro stay alive, the government has had to make some quite big changes to actually be able to pay back the countries involved. For a regular person the amounts seem astronomical, but one has to understand that in the national level these are still within reasonable limits.

Countries inside the European Union have lent 2,000 billion euros to Ireland, Belgium, Portugal, Spain and to Greece. All of these were done with the intention of keeping the EURO alive, and also keep EU members out of bankruptcy.

Thanks to these loans, Greece has had to make quite large changes in their habits to ensure their capability for a reimbursement. Their parlament has now approved of a tight regimen which will help them keep their costs down. These rules will cause them to save 28 billion, and this was an obligation for their next loan of 12 billion.

Bin Ladens Son: Killing My Father Was Illegal!

Wednesday, May 11th, 2011

Osama Bin Laden was killed by U.S Forces in Pakistan, but there is debate on whether the US did the right decision by hunting him down and killing him.

Bin Ladens son has approached the media with international laws stating that it was illegal to kill Osama Bin Laden. We all know that most Americans think that he deserved to die, but just as many feel that like anyone he had rights, and those rights would guarantee him a fair trial.

There is still uncertainty amongst people if their nightmare is already over since the US government did not release a photo of the dead Osama, and they got rid of the body quickly after announcing the death of Osama Bin Laden.

Is the war with Al Qaida over, and does the death of one man stop their actions?

Worries Of Anti-Islamism In Sweden Because Of The Bombing

Monday, December 13th, 2010

In Stockholm Sweden, 12/12/2010 there was a bombing in the middle of the city. A man blew himself up inside his car on Bryggargatan on that Saturday Evening. This all happened during the busiest hours of Christmas Shopping in a very busy area.

Ten minutes before the explosion the Police was given a message which roughly translates:

Your children, brothers and sisters will now suffer like our children brothers and sisters are suffering as long as you are still keeping up the anti-islamic war.

Our actions will speak for themselves, as long as you do not end your war agains the Islam

Because of this, the government is now worried of the Swedish becoming anti-Islamic. This could really affect the wellbeing of all the Islamic people living in Sweden.

The muslims of Sweden have arranged a public protest against the terrorist attack, and are clearly putting out the message that they didn’t want it to happen – it was the work of an independent terrorist group.

The bomber most likely triggered one of the bombs by accident inside his car, or on purpose. He was rigged with multiple bombs, and a backpack which was filled with explosives and nails. One of the bombs went off inside the car, and further casualties were avoided.

It has not been a day since Finnish peacekeepers were attacked in Afghanistan with a roadside bomb. Two of them were seriously injured and one of them suffered a spinal fracture. Now eight troops of the U.S. Military are dead after being attacked in two different outposts.

On Saturday night in Nuristan which is close to the Pakistan border some fighters attacked the American soldiers from a village near the outposts. There is no certain information about the outposts still being intact and there is doubt about them being taken over by the attackers. The military remains silent about the state of the outposts.

There has been insecuritites like this before in Afghanistan back in 2008 when nine soldiers died in a similar attack.

London Olympic Stadium 2012

London Olympic Stadium 2012

The International Olympic Commitee made two eliminations in the run for 2016 Olympic Games. Chicago and Tokyo are no longer contenders for the games and there are a still only Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Spain left as contenders.

It seems that even if President Obama took time to go visit the Olympic Commitee, it did not help the chances of Chicago of having the honor of organizing the games.

All the cities gave the proposals on Friday and after that the members of the IOC decided on which countries should be still included in the game, and which should not.

As for other countries, Spain’s King Juan Carlos and the Queen Sofia accompanied with President Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero are going to work on promoting the possible 2016 Madrid Olympics.

For Brazil, the President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva is going to take Pele – a soccer hero – to present their plans for the games in Rio.

Hundreds Of Dinosaur Eggs Found In India

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

DinosaurIn the state of Tamil Nadu there is a group of scientists who have made an exciting discovery. Their primary goal was to find an old path where a river had gone, but instead they found a huddle of weird football sized objects. Later it turned out that these might be the eggs of dinosaur.

There have been claims made about the way that all these eggs are brought together, but it appears that all the eggs are infertile, and for that reason they still are there.  It obviously shows that dinosaur have continuously returned to one place to lay eggs – they were not all layed at the same time since they were found in different layers.

The first time eggs were found in the same area was in the late 1860′s, and just like these they were claimed to be laid by a Sauropod, which has been found to have inhabit every part of the world.

Olympic Games In Chicago?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Michelle ObamaOlympic games are the pinnacle of athletics. There are many atheletes whose main goals are always set for the olympics and the only train in cycles of four year to peak their condition for the one important day that they will have. It is the dream of all the athletes who ever start doing sports to one day be in the olympics and to win. Also it has become a great honour for the country and the city which is organizing the games.

Michelle Obama has announced that United States is going to apply for the 2016 Olympic Games, and that they will be held in Chicago. “It’s a battle — We’re going to win” said Michelle Obama the first lade at the White House State Dining Room. On thursday her husband – The President – is going to fly to Denmark where the Olympic Commitee is reviewing bids. It is going to be the very first time that a president of United States is taking so much interest in the Olympic Games.

It seems that Obama sees the possiblities in this to lift the ecomony out of the gutter. With the games there comes heaps of tourism and income from tickets, hotels, merchandise and other income.

United States Accepts Hamid Karzai As President

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Hamid KarzaiAfter two weeks of hesitation The White House has annonced their response to the election of the new Afghan President Hamid Karzai. He was the winner in the recent disputable election where they found proof that almost a fifth of all the votes might have been fraudulent.

Obamas Administration clearly turned their backs on their previous standards to not take take a stand before the investigation of a possibly rigged voting has completed. They have admitted that Karzai will be the president for the following half a decade because of the fact that even if there was a re-vote he would most certainly be still elected due to his large and wide spread group of supporters.

This is going to definitely force President Obama to give further reasons for US troop deplyoments to Afghanistan.
